No. of Players: | 2+ |
Type of Game: | written or spoken |
What you need: | pen & paper or nothing |
Goal
To think of words that end with a given set of letters.
How to play
The gamemaster provides sets of letters to the other players and challenges them to write down one word that ends with each set of letters. The first player to complete this task, or the player with the longest list, is the winner. Alternatively, a set of letters is chosen and players must say a word that ends with these letters. No words can be repeated. Players take turns until someone cannot think of an appropriate word and is forced to drop out of the game. The last player is the winner. Another variation has players choose a new ending each time a round, or a certain number of rounds, is successfully completed.
Example
A group of five players choose the ending –TUDE and begin naming words until only one player is left. They agree on a five-second time limit for each turn.
