  • I'm Lovin' It debuted in 2003 by McDonald's with its iconic five-note jingle (ba da ba ba ba).
  • Think Different was a seminal advertising campaign launched by Apple in 1997. It reminded the world of the company's core values of creativity and innovation.

  • Finger Lickin' Good was a slogan coined in the mid-1950s after a customer complained about a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchisee licking his fingers in a TV commercial. The manager of that franchise spontaneously replied with the phrase, which quickly became the official slogan.
  • Red Bull Gives You Wings was launched by Red Bull in 1987. It metaphorically promises energy, focus and peak performance rather than literal flight — the company actually faced down a class-action lawsuit in 2014 that argued the slogan was deceptive because the drink did not actually "give you wings."
  • Betcha Can’t Eat Just One was a slogan introduced in 1963 in an ad featuring the actor who played the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz (1939).
  • Have It Your Way was launched in 1974 to promote individuality and self-expression, as Burger King allowed customers to customize their meals: "Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce".
  • Melts in Your Mouth, Not in Your Hands was coined in 1954 for M&M's to highlight their unique, heat-resistant candy shell. The candy was developed in 1941 and became a staple for U.S. soldiers during WWII.
