Fun Facts About Bond Girls
- Jill St. John was the first American Bond girl. She played the intelligent, yet witty, diamond smuggler Tiffany Case in Diamonds Are Forever (1971). She reportedly has an IQ of 162, placing her in the genius category.
- Jane Seymour was 21 years old when she played a psychic named Solitaire in Live and Let Die (1973), making her one of the youngest Bond girls ever.
- Maud Adams is the only woman to play two different Bond girls: Andrea Anders in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) and the title character in Octopussy (1983).
- When Barbara Bach, played Agent Triple X in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), she brought a new era of independent and skilled Bond girls to the screen. She later recommended actress Grace Jones to producers to play a Bond girl.

- Halle Berry's orange-bikini scene in Die Another Day (2002) is a direct homage to Ursula Andress' iconic moment as Honey Ryder from her 1962 Bond film.
- At the time Teri Hatcher played Paris Carver in Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), she was the highest-paid actress ever to appear in a Bond film.
