Did you know?
The real Frank Abagnale Jr., played by Leonardo DiCaprio, thought Steven Spielberg's movie was 80% accurate at best. He point out its obvious logical flaw. This was the suggestion that the con man, who certainly did not want to be caught, had an almost friendly relationship with the FBI. The movie goes so far as to suggest Abagnale made annual Christmas phone calls to FBI agents. According to Abagnale, this dynamic is entirely fabricated for the movie. In reality, there was no contact between him and the FBI agents pursuing him. This only occurred after his imprisonment where he did some consulting work in exchange for early parole.
These terms include actor, character, and director names; other people, places, and things encountered in the storyline; themes, ideas, and subject matter handled in the movie — basically, anything that seems reasonable.
