★★★ If you like movies and word searches, then this is your page! ★★★

Below you'll find links to hundreds of word search puzzles on the world of cinema. These themed puzzles are organized by year of movie release. You'll find movie trivia and fun quizzes on some of these links too.

The word search puzzles come in two types. The first hides movie titles. The second hides terms associated with particular movies. In total, there are 444 movie word searches with 14,800 search terms.

The plan is to encompass every year of cinema from the current year back to 1914. Thus far we have puzzles on movies from 1980 through 2016. We are currently moving forward, year-by-year, to the latest releases. This means this page is constantly being updated. So be sure to check back later to see how we're doing. As Arnold says in The Terminator from 1984, "I'll be back with more puzzles."

Well, we might be taking some liberties with that quote. But you know what we mean. 😜

Note: these puzzles are printer-friendly — like all our free, downloadable puzzles. As long as your computer can open PDF files and your printer is loaded with standard 8.5" × 11" paper, you are all set to start solving!
