Did you know?
Director Rob Marshall wanted Catherine Zeta-Jones (Velma) to keep her naturally long hair for the musical. But Zeta-Jones argued audiences might not believe it was her actually dancing. She explained she wanted audiences to clearly see her face throughout the complex choreography. If her hair fell over her face, it may give people a reason to doubt she did all the dancing herself and instead relied on a body double. Zeta-Jones also advocated for the bob cut as it better aligned with the 1920s period of the musical.
These terms include actor, character, and director names; other people, places, and things encountered in the storyline; themes, ideas, and subject matter handled in the movie — basically, anything that seems reasonable.
