Did you know?

In a highly unusual move for a Hollywood production, Quentin Tarantino had the characters speak in their respective languages. So German was spoken by the Nazis, French for the Resistance, and Italian for a brief scene. Only about 30% of the film had dialogue in English, despite English-speaking audiences being the key demographical market. Christoph Waltz (Landa) was one actor who had no trouble with the production. Waltz is fluent in German, French and English. Audiences can see the ease at which his character switches from one language to the other. Although Waltz does admit his dialogue in Italian was a clever deception, as he does not actually speak the language. He relied on a dialogue coach and memorization.

These terms include actor, character, and director names; other people, places, and things encountered in the storyline; themes, ideas, and subject matter handled in the movie — basically, anything that seems reasonable.
