Did you know?

Dr. Kip Thorne, the scientific consultant and executive producer of Interstellar, played a pivotal role in ensuring the film was scientifically accurate. Thorne is an expert on black holes and is the one who provided the initial concept for the film's method of space travel. This method involves traveling through a wormhole and is highly speculative, although Thorne insists it does not violate the laws of physics. However, he does not believe faster-than-light travel is possible and this was an issue because Christopher Nolan's script called for that type of travel. Thorne had to spend two weeks convincing Nolan to abandon the idea.

These terms include actor, character, and director names; other people, places, and things encountered in the storyline; themes, ideas, and subject matter handled in the movie — basically, anything that seems reasonable.
