Word Search Puzzle

Here's a word search on the country of Belgium. The puzzle grid hides 20 words and phrasesAntwerp, Battlefield, Big Bang, Brussels, Cavalcade,
Chocolate, Dutch, Flemish, Folklore, Football,
High Taxes, Low-Lying, Metric, Roman Catholic, Saxophone,
Tennis, Waffles, Walloons, French, Grand Prix
associated with Belgium. But there's a twist. Only 18 of these 20 words are actually listed. So you're on your own to find the 2 unlisted ones. A full solution is provided if you get stuck.

By the way, we designed this puzzle to be easily read. Both the puzzle grid and word list are in large 17-point font size. And the puzzle grid, which is 22×20 letters, spans the entire width of the page. This way you won't have to squint.

Fun Facts About Belgium

  • Belgians invented the saxophone, French fries and pralines — those chocolate shells with soft, rich fillings.
  • Belgians eat nearly 18 pounds of chocolate per person per year, ranking among the top globally. The Brussels Airport is the world's largest single chocolate retailer, selling huge quantities to travelers as souvenirs.
  • Belgium has the highest density of comic-strip murals in the world. You can follow an official Comic Book Route in Brussels and see giant murals of Tintin and the Smurfs (who happen to be Belgian, by the way).
  • The world's first printed newspaper was published in Antwerp in 1605. You can see surviving copies from 1609 in various archives and libraries throughout Germany and the Netherlands.
