Here's a word search on the country of Dominica. The puzzle grid hides 20 words and phrasesAloe Vera, Banana, Caribbean, Creole, Crown Colony,
Forest, Hurricane Dean, Long Trail, Many Rivers, Mountain Chicken,
Nature Island, Patchouli, Patrick John, Rich Soil, Roseau,
Saltfish, Sisserou Parrot, Waterfall, Boiling Lake, Sperm Whale

By the way, we designed this puzzle to be easily read. Both the puzzle grid and word list are in large 17-point font size. And the puzzle grid, which is 22×20 letters, spans the entire width of the page. This way you won't have to squint.

Fun Facts About Dominica

  • Dominica has one of the highest proportions of centenarians (people over the age of 100) per capita in the world.
  • The national flag of Dominica features a Sisserou parrot. Found only in Dominica, it is critically endangered – fewer than 500 remain in the wild.
  • Dominica has avoided large-scale, all-inclusive tourism, choosing instead to focus on sustainable eco-tourism. Its volcanic landscapes, rainforests, hiking, diving, and small, unique lodges, makes it a prime spot for adventure travelers seeking raw nature over typical resort experiences.
  • One of Dominica's national dishes is mountain chicken. But it is not actually a chicken. Rather, it is a giant ditch frog. However, it does taste like chicken!
  • Dominica has the second-largest hot spring in the world. It really does look like a giant boiling pot of grayish-blue water shrouded in mist. Temperatures can reach 197° F at the edge of the spring.
