- No ATMs in Eritrea accept foreign cards. There is also little credit card usage. If you travel there, you will need to bring cash and exchange it locally.
- Coffee may have originated in neighboring Ethiopia, but Eritreans take the drink to another level. Their traditional coffee ceremony is an hours-long cultural ritual, symbolizing immense hospitality and community bonding.
