- Pakistan has five of the world's 14 peaks over 8,000 meters, more than any other country. This includes the notoriously difficult K2, which is second in height only to Mount Everest.
- There's a family in Pakistan that hold the Guiness World Record for the most family members born on the same day. All seven children, plus their parents, share the same August 1st birthday.
- Pakistan has the world's second-largest salt mine. It features incredible underground structures like a mosque and hospital made of salt bricks, as well as a salt replica of the Great Wall of China.
- Pakistan is home to the Thar Desert, one of the only fertile deserts in the world. After moonsoons, it is transformed into a green landscape which supports crops like maize and millet, plus livestock and wildlife like peacocks, deer and desert foxes.
- Pakistan has the world's largest volunteer ambulance network. Their fleet of over 1,800 vehicles is funded entirely by donations.
