  • Tajikistan's geography is characterized by extreme mountainous terrain. Over 90% of its land is mountainous. The country's nickname says it all: "Roof of the World."
  • Tajikistan is rich in rivers. Over 900 of them exceed 10 kilometers in length. The country provides about 60% of Central Asia's water.
