This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2002. Our personal favorite is MOPTOP. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.
Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● BRAINIAC an exceptionally intelligent person known for his superior knowledge and understanding. Her little brother was a brainiac who could list all the elements of the periodic table by the age of seven.
● PHONE TAG a series of repeated attempts by two people to connect with each other by phone, where neither person reaches the other and they instead leave messages on voicemail or on answering machines, leading to the frustration of missed calls. The manager finally connected with the client after having played phone tag with him all week.
● SCREENSHOT a digital image capturing whatever is currently displayed on a computer, tablet or phone screen, allowing users to save and share visual content like web pages or desktops. The tech support professional asked the customer to email a screenshot of the error message encountered on the website.
