Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● GREEN SPACE an area of land covered in natural vegetation like grass, trees, and plants, set aside for conservation or recreational use within a developed environment. The town is planning to increase the amount of green space to provide a vital habitat for local wildlife.
● SPACE JUNK any human-made objects in Earth's orbit that no longer serve a useful purpose, such as derelict satellites and spent rocket stages. Experts warn the amount of space junk will soon reach a critical level to pose a serious risk of collision for future space travelers.
● SUGAR PIE a rich, sweet dessert with a simple filling of sugar, butter, and cream or flour. Grandma always makes her famous sugar pie for Thanksgiving dinner.
