This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2003. Our personal favorite is CHUMP CHANGE. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.

Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?

ALPHA MALE the most dominant, confident, or assertive man in a particular social or professional group setting. Rex was the unchallenged alpha male of the group who naturally took charge of the discussions.

CHUMP CHANGE a slang term for a small or trivial amount of money, originating from the 1960s. Trevor quit his job at the gas station because he was tired of working for chump change.

MOUSE PAD a computer accessory with a flat surface designed to enhance the performance of a computer mouse. He ordered an ergonomic mouse pad with a gel wrist rest to improve his comfort while using his desktop computer.
