● BLOGGER a person who regularly writes, manages, and adds content to a website called a blog, either as a personal creative outlet or as a professional enterprise. Her blog regularly featured exotic recipes gathered from around the world.
● THIRD RAIL a controversial issue that a politician avoids, fearing that taking a stance or even addressing it will destroy his career. All the candidates dodged questions about reforming Social Security, knowing it was a political third rail.
● UNPLUGGED a performance or recording that uses acoustic instruments instead of electrified ones. The hard rock band unexpectedly released a stripped-down, unplugged version of their most popular song to shock their fans.
