Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● BURGER VAN a type of food truck or food van that specializes in selling burgers and other fast-food items, often found at roadside locations, special events, and markets. The office manager treated his staff to a burger van lunch about once a month.
● FOOSBALL a tabletop game that simulates soccer, where players manipulate rods attached to miniature figures to flick the ball into the opponent's goal. To the delight of his children, the father announced that they would have a family foosball tournment in the playroom after dinner.
● JARHEAD slang for a U.S. Marine, which refers to the appearance of a Marine's head, with a close-cropped high-and-tight haircut, protruding from the high collar of their dress uniform, resembling a jar. The old man often spoke about his glory days as a young jarhead.
