Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● KEGGER an often boisterous gathering of students or young people where beer is served from a large keg as the main beverage. The largest frat house on campus threw a kegger last week that went on until dawn.
● OKTOBERFEST a world-renowned festival celebrating Bavarian culture, food, and beer that originated in Munich, Germany in 1810. The city's annual Oktoberfest celebration attracts millions of visitors and is one of the largest in North America.
● SOCCER MOM a middle-class, suburban mother who devotes a significant amount of time transporting her school-aged children to various extracurricular activities such as sports and music classes. The soccer mom always ensured the minivan was loaded with juice boxes and snacks for the kids.
