Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● BALL GIRL a female attendant who retrieves balls for players in sports like tennis, baseball and basketball. She felt lucky to have been selected as the head ball girl for Wimbledon last year.
● CLUTCH BAG a small, flat handbag typically carried without handles or straps. Her clutch bag was only big enough to hold her phone and keys.
● DATA DUMP the transfer of a large volume of data from one system, location, or database to another, often to create backups, move data to a new system, or to prepare data for analysis. The IT manager requested a full data dump before upgrading the server to ensure the department had a complete backup of the database.
