This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2000. Our personal favorite is MAGIC SHOP. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.
Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● MAGIC SHOP a store that sells items and materials used for performing magic tricks. The wizard bought potions and a new wand at the magic shop.
● MAN ORCHID a species of orchid whose flowers resemble a human figure. As a specialty florist, she had experience sourcing rare and unusual blooms like the man orchid.
● MASS DRIVER a large electromagnetic catapult that launches payloads into orbit without rockets. The aerospace engineers proposed using a mass driver to send rocks and ice from the Moon to the orbiting space station.
