Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● AIR GUITAR a form of movement in which a person pretends to play an imaginary electric guitar complete with exaggerated strumming, picking motions and head-banging, often performed to rock or heavy metal music. Most of the fans in the first row played air guitar during the rock concert.
● SKI BUNNY a slang term that typically describes a attractive young woman who frequents a ski resort, but is more focused on the social and fashionable aspects of the environment than on actually skiing. The ski bunny could always be found chatting in the chalet and never outside hitting the slopes.
● VIRTUAL PET an artificial companion that exists on a computer, phone app or other such electronic device, which simulates the experience of raising and caring for a living being without the real-world responsibilities. She fed her digital friend by tapping on the phone screen at different times of the day.
