Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● GASLIGHTING a psychological manipulation technique in which a person or group covertly sows seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or group, making them question their own memory, perception and sanity. The regime engaged in gaslighting the people into thinking all their problems were not the result of government policy.
● SPYWARE a malicious software that secrety enters a user's computer, collects personal and sensitive information, and sends it to third parties without the user's knowledge or consent. After he clicked the email link, his computer became infected with spyware that secretly recorded all his online activity and sent it to thieves overseas.
● SUPERSIZE to make something significantly larger than the average or standard size. The fast food worker asked if the customer wanted to supersize his order.
