This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2004. Our personal favorite is SKID MARK. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.
Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● NUT BAR a crazy, quirky or eccentric person. I'm beginning to think my neighbor is a nut bar with all his bizarre conspiracy theories.
● SCRATCHIE an instant-win lottery game where players scratch off an opaque coating to reveal symbols or numbers to see if they have won a prize. My aunt bought five $2 scratchies and won the exact sum of nothing.
● SKID MARK a brownish stain on the inside of a person's underpants, caused by improper wiping after a bowel movement. He was embarrassed to find a skid mark in his underwear after coming home from the office.
