This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2005. Our personal favorite is PASTRY BAG. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.

Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?

BUBBLE TEA a popular Taiwanese drink made by blending a black, green or oolong tea with milk, fruit or other flavorings and sweeteners, served with chewy tapioca pearls known as "boba" or "bubbles". After class, the students went to their favorite shop in chinatown for bubble tea.

CASH MACHINE an unattended machine, usually just outside a bank or credit union, that dispenses money by using a personal coded card and a PIN. Before his big date, he stopped at a cash machine to withdraw a handful of $20 bills.

COLD CASE a criminal investigation that has been suspended or remains unsolved for an extended period of time because all promising leads have been exhausted. Thanks to DNA testing, many decades-old cold cases were solved by police departments.
