This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2006. Our personal favorite is DUTCHIE. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.

Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?

DUTCHIE a square-shaped, yeast-raised doughnut with raisins and a sweet glaze, originating in Canada in the 1950s and popularized by the Tim Hortons chain, where it was one of the original menu items in 1964. In the morning the road crew stopped into Timmies to buy coffee and a dozen dutchies to go.

KOOL-AID a brand of sweetened, fruit-flavored drink mix. The babysitter always made Kool-Aid for the kids on hot summer days.

PILATES a system of low-impact exercises designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, as well as to enhance mental awareness through controlled, precise movements and breath work. The community center offered a beginners Pilates class, free for senior residents of the town.
