This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2006. Our personal favorite is SPEEDO. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.
Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● BULLET POINT a typographical symbol, most commonly a large dot (●), used to introduce an item in a list and to make information easier to read and digest. Other styles of bullet point symbols include a square (■), triangle (▲), diamond (♦), and heart (♥).
● EARLY BIRD a person who wakes up, arrives, or takes action before the usual or expected time, often to gain an advantage. He was a natural early bird, usually arriving at the office a full hour before anyone else.
● SPEEDO a brand of tight-fitting, brief-style swimsuit for men. The competitive swimmer chose to wear a blue speedo made of fast-drying spandex material.
