This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2006. Our personal favorite is CITY GIRL. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.
Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● CITY GIRL a woman who prefers a fast-paced urban lifestyle and who is often perceived as independent, confident and culturally savvy. My cousin is a true city girl who finds my life in the quiet countryside a bit too serene for her liking.
● EAR BUD a very small headphone that fits inside the ear or ear canal. She usually wears earbuds to listen to music while she exercises.
● SUDOKU a logic-based puzzle in which players insert the numbers one to nine into a grid (consisting of nine squares subdivided into nine smaller squares) in such a way that every number appears once in each horizontal line, vertical line, and square. This website has a variety of sudoku puzzles you can print out for free.
