Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● GRINCH an ill-tempered person who spoils the enjoyment of others, particularly during Christmas time. They thought their neighbor was a real Grinch for complaining about the holiday lights and decorations on their street.
● STICKY BUN a sweet, yeasted pastry roll, similar to a cinnamon roll, that is baked upside down in a caramel sauce and nut mixture, allowing the gooey, caramelized topping to cascde over the pastry. She knew it would be breaking her diet, but she stopped into the bakery to buy a sticky bun.
● YADA YADA an informal phrase used to dismiss dull, obvious, or unimportant talk. She was complaining to me about her boss yet again — yada yada.
