This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2006. Our personal favorite is PIXIE DUST. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.
Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● DUST BUNNY small clumps of dust, hair, lint, and other debris that form and accumulate in areas of a home that are not cleaned regularly, such as under furniture and in corners. She lazily watched a dust bunny swirl on the bedroom floor from a breeze coming in from the open window.
● PIXIE DUST a magical, glittering powder primarily used in fictional universes to bring a character great success, good luck and happiness, or even the ability to fly. The early summer morning was so beautiful it looked like it was sprinkled with pixie dust.
● STRIP MALL a one-story row of businesses (e.g., retail stores, restaurants, and service providers) with easy access from a busy road and a shared parking lot in front. Sometimes he cynically thought that America was now just one big strip mall that had the same stores in every city.
