This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2007. Our personal favorite is PROM KING. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.
Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● AIRDATE the date of a broadcast, or a scheduled broadcast, for a radio or television program. He couldn't believe the original airdate of that Christmas special was 24 years ago.
● BOX SET a collection of related items, such as books, music, films, or television programs, packaged together and sold as a single unit. She bought the complete box set featuring every studio album, plus unreleased tracks, of her favorite band.
● CENTRAL AIR a cooling system that uses a network of ducts to distribute cooled air from a central unit to individual rooms, controlling the temperature throughout the entire house or building from a single thermostat. Although they grew up without central air, once they moved down to southern Florida, they recognized it was a must-have.
