Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● DARKNET a segment of the internet accessible only through advanced protocols or specialized software designed to provide user anonymity and security. His friend advised him to download and use the Tor browser if he wanted to surf the darknet anonymously.
● HUMP DAY a term commonly used to refer to Wednesday, the middle day of the traditional workweek. The employees pushed through hump day, knowing it was all downhill to the weekend from there.
● LEAF BLOWER a mechanized yard tool that generates a powerful stream of air to move or clear leaves, grass clippings, dirt, and other debris from outdoor surfaces like lawns and driveways.Some municipalities implement outright bans on leaf blowers because of the excessive noise they generate when in use.
