Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● MAD ITCH an overwhelming urge to do, or to pursue, something passionately or continuously. The high school football quaterback had a mad itch to win the championship game.
● MAIN BELT the vast, torus-shaped region of space between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter that contains most of the Solar System's asteroids. Planetary scientists study asteroids within the main belt to better understand the early formation of our solar system.
● MALL RAT a young person who spends a significant amount of time loitering in shopping malls, usually without the specific intent to shop. His teenage daughter was a mall rat who spent every afternoon with her friends at the mall's food court.
