This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2008. Our personal favorite is FOOD DROP. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.
Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● ASSET CLASS a category of investments with similar characteristics, such as shared market behavior, legal frameworks, and risk/return profiles, which helps investors diversify their portfolios and manage risk. No single asset class performs well in all market conditions, but historically some have been safer than others.
● CELLBLOCK a group or division of cells within a prison or section of a prison designed to house multiple inmates. The new inmate was unfortunately assigned to cellblock D, which had a reputation as the most dangerous section of the prison.
● FOOD DROP a program type where individuals and businesses donate excess food to organizations that serve those in need. The town set up a temporary food drop where residents could bring non-perishable food items to help those affected by the recent tornado.
