This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2008. Our personal favorite is SHEEPLE. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.

Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?

BOONIES short for boondocks, a remote and thinly settled rural area. She hated visiting her brother, who lived out in the boonies, because the cell service there was so poor.

FLASH MEMORY a type of non-volatile solid-state memory that preserves its data even when it is not powered on, making it suitable for long-term storage. He bought a new laptop with a solid-state drive with flash memory because it would significantly increase the overall speed of data access.

SHEEPLE a slang term which compares people to sheep because they are perceived to be docile, compliant, easily influenced and led. They thought of Bob as a conspiracy theorist because he claimed to be the only one who saw the truth, while dismissing everyone else as sheeple.
