This word search puzzle is themed. It hides 18 words or phrases which only first appeared in dictionaries in 2008. Our personal favorite is LOVE BOAT. But while these search terms are listed, there are 2 additional unlisted search terms for you to find. The solution is provided.
Here are three new entries with definitions and sample sentences. There are seventeen others in the puzzle. Are you familiar with them all?
● AMERICANO a drink made by diluting espresso with hot water. The barista explained to the customer that an americano is milder than a straight shot of espresso but more flavorful than regular drip coffee.
● FULL RIDE a scholarship that covers all or nearly all of a student's expenses to attend college, including tuition, room and board, books, and other fees. He was thrilled his son received a full ride to his alma mater.
● LOVE BOAT a cruise ship, particularly one associated with romance, fun and adventure. The luxury cruise ship modeled itself as the premier love boat, along the lines of the TV show by the same name which aired on ABC from 1977 to 1986.
