● MAJOR PLAYER a person, institution or other entity that holds significant influence or importance within a specific field or industry. Market analysts noted that the company was a major player in communication technology.
● MAN OVERBOARD a critical maritime term and emergency alarm used when a person falls from a vessel into the water, requiring immediate rescue procedures. The crew sprung to action when the captain shouted "Man overboard!"
